Since we have been talking quite a lot about going to where God is (heaven) Isaac has this weird thought.

He has been whinging a bit whenever I put him to bed, he kept asking me why do I have to close the door, what are you going to do after you said goodnite to me, etc.

Until one afternoon, he said: " Mamee I am a little unhappy, I don't want you to leave the room, I don't want you to go to God."

oh, is that what he thought, I am leaving. Ai ya......

No no, I am not going to God yet, although I don't know when I will be going, but I can assure you, you will be well taken care of even if I do go and I will see you there.

Whilst Hei hei was doing his normal business in the toilet and I was washing the dishes, he started the most important conversation that changed his life.

Isaac asked: Mum! why do I have 2 legs and a spider has 8.

Mum said: Because God created you this way. You are human and a spider is an insect (!!)

I: Did God put me together like puzzles?

M: Yes.

I Does GOd have ears?

M Yes, you know why. If he doesn't have ears, how can he hear.....what?

I My prayers. (Good on him)

I: Is God really good at playing puzzles, like me?

M: Yes.

I Am I better than Jesus then?

M: No, of course not.

I: Why?

M: Coz Jesus is the best. He has never done one naughty thing.

I Why?

M Coz Jesus is all perfect.

I Why is Jesus in my heart and yet I can't see him?

M: Because Jesus is ...... (I can't say he is not human but you know it's just getting harder and harder to explain) human as well as God. (not sure if he understands) and he can be everywhere.

I: Huh??

M: Jesus and God is the same, they can be everywhere. Like Jesus is with you when you sleep in your room and Jesus is also with Mamee when I wash the dishes downstairs.

I: Wow

M: Yes Jesus and God is very powerful. They can be everywhere and they can do anything.

I: So is Jesus in Hk with por por?

M: Yes of course, he can be with anyone and everyone.

Things are getting more and more interesting so I decided to go and chat with him in the toilet about salvation.

M: Let mamee tell you why Jesus came to this world.

I: OK

M: We all have done some bad things, we have been naughty, just like you, you sometimes do naughty things, when mamee said no, you continue and make me angry, right?

I: Yes,

M: So God punishes all those people who are naughty and puts us to an unhappy place.

You should see the look on his face. :(

M: but because God loves us soooooooooo much that he sent his only son Jesus to save us. Remember how I said Jesus is perfect and he has never done anything wrong. He replaced us for the punishment. Although he hasn't done anything wrong, he took the punishment for us.

I: .....

M: Do you understand? Just like when you are naughty and I was going to punish you but because mui mui loves you so much, she asked me to punish her instead so you don't get punished.

I Yes

M: So God punished Jesus but because Jesus is a good boy, God make him happy again and so if you believe in Jesus we won't be punished. Do you want to believe in Jesus? That is do you want to listen to Jesus and be a good boy from  now on. Listen to Jesus and do good things and not naughty things. Do what is pleasing to Jesus.

I YES (I was so happy to hear that)

M Then you won't need to go to the unhappy place and you can go to where God is.

I then wiped his little bum and hugged him.

We then prayed together as he repeated after me with his conversion prayer.

Then we ring David to tell him. I told him everything and when I had finished. Isaac added:

I: You haven't mentioned about the CROSS.

M: What? Do you know about the cross, you know that the cross has something to do with it.

I (Giggled) yes.

I was so amazed that he could associate the cross with salvation so I explained that the naughty people put Jesus on the Cross and hurt him and finally God saved him and put him to life again.

I then told him his mission to tell people about Jesus coz he began to ask if this this or this person will go to heaven. I said if he wants anyone to go to heaven he will have to tell them about Jesus.

I: Is porpor going?

M: She will go if you tell her about Jesus when you go back to Hk in November.

I: So I will tell uncle Jason as well.

M: YES (he is just so smart)

I couldn't stop smiling and laughing coz i was super delighted that he had accepted Christ.

As we prepared for afternoon nap Isaac added: Is there bread when God is?

I: Yes (hahahah this seems to be his primarily concern as he now has a destination to go one day)

I am sure God is pleased with such innocent faith from a child.
